Since operating the Denison Star from Hamilton Island we have catered for many weddings formal and informal, large and small. The Denison Star, a beautiful 107 foot motor cruiser is a perfect venue to enjoy a relaxed yet elegant reception, either day or evening charter, or as a pre-dinner function.
The ultimate way to mingle with your wedding guests whilst having your photographs taken against the spectacular Whitsunday sunsets. Couples may also wish to utilise this type of function as a pre or post wedding get-together.
Whether you choose Whitehaven Beach for your wedding or tie the knot on board the Denison Star and cruise amongst the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, we can offer a tailor made package just for you to celebrate your special day.

Decks: 2 (upper & middle decks) - Air conditioned dining room.
Capacity: Sit-down function - Max 46 pax in the dining room (or 80 pax utilising both Dining Room and Upper deck)
Stand up dinner function - Up to 80 pax
Cocktail Cruise function - Up to 100 pax
Crew: Qualified skipper and deck crew plus Chef, bar and wait staff
- Day charter (up to 5 hours – concluded by 4.30pm)
- Evening charter (up to 4 hours duration – after 5pm)
- Marine Parks Taxes are not included ($6.00pp day charter & evening charter)
